Zephaniah 3:15-17
15The Lord has taken away the judgments against you;he has cleared away your enemies.
aThe King of Israel, bthe Lord, is in your midst;
you shall never again fear evil.
16 cOn that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
“Fear not, O Zion;
dlet not your hands grow weak.
17 eThe Lord your God is in your midst,
fa mighty one who will save;
ghe will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.
Zechariah 9:8-10
8Then hI will encamp at my house as a guard,iso that none shall march to and fro;
jno oppressor shall again march over them,
kfor now I see with my own eyes.
The Coming King of Zion
9 lRejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem!
mBehold, nyour king is coming to you;
righteous and having salvation is he,
ohumble and mounted on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
10 pI will cut off the chariot from Ephraim
and qthe war horse from Jerusalem;
and the battle bow shall be cut off,
and rhe shall speak peace to the nations;
shis rule shall be from sea to sea,
and from tthe River to the ends of the earth.
Romans 6:22
